The Adolph Coors Brewing Company was one of the earliest large employers in the
Golden area, and remains so today, 125 years after its founding. Note the
historic Coors Mansion, which is still on the grounds of the brewery. This
picture was taken in about 1900, and is part of the museum's "Walker Collection"
of photos.
